Remove All Formatting in Two Quick Steps

You may have applied direct formatting (bold/italics, etc.) to text and changed your mind.   Or you may have copied text from another document that does not match the current document.

To remove the formatting:

1. Select the entire document by pressing Ctrl + A, or just select the portion of the document you wish to change.

2. Press Ctrl + Shift + N, which applies the default Normal default style of the document.
